The Big Spring Clean is about loving where you live… about caring for your surroundings, and creating a better environment for our communities. It’s your Peterlee, so why not get involved today!
The impact of cleaner streets, less dog fouling, more green space has been proven to have an overwhelmingly positive effect on the health and well-being of our community. With your help, this campaign will grow the number of people willing to play their part.
If we can all do one small thing to help make a big difference in our communities.

Friday 4th March               10am-12 noon                   South Denes – meet at the hand car wash in the Town Centre

Thursday 10th March       1pm – 3pm                         South Denes – meet at Avon Road/former North Blunts School

Tuesday 15th March         10am – 12 noon                 Footpath along the top of Caste Eden Dene, from Helford Road along to Avon Road – meet at the MUGA Car Park, Helford Road

Wednesday 23rd March  1pm – 3pm                         North Denes – meet in Poundstretcher Car Park

Monday 28th March         1pm – 3pm                         Lowhills Road football pitches – meet in Acre Rigg Social Club Car Park/Hill Rigg House

 

Please come and join us, litter picking sticks and bags will be provided.  Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the task.

You can join in one litter pick or all of them, just turn up on the day!
