Great news! Peterlee Town Council have been successful in a grant funding bid with the Urban Tree Challenge Fund. The Town Council’s Parks Department have planted a total of 7,500 trees at Eden Lane, Lowhills Road & Woodhouse Park in partnership with East Durham College (ENGAGE TEAM), the Peterlee Community Garden Team plus Peterlee Town Councillors Karon Liddell and Steve Miles. A huge Well Done to everyone involved with this project.
