Michelle McCue

My name is Michelle McCue. I am married, and a mother to three children.

I attended both North Blunts School and then Dene House Comprehensive School.

My children have attended Howletch Primary School, Acre Rigg Academy, Dene House Primary and Dene House School of Technology.

I have attended further Education at Teesside University and East Durham and Houghall Community College. Plus, a number of outreach courses with a host of education providers nationally.

My career has covered a number of roles: Company Director of Manufacturing start up, Hotel Manager, Department Head of Adult Education in Peterlee, Customer Services at Ramsdens Peterlee and other regional branches. Administration at East Durham Trust, Passport Officer HM Home Office. Following that Visa and Immigration Officer. As well as a number of in-between part time jobs to enable me to return to adult education myself.

This has enabled me to amass a host of experience in a number of fields. My roles have always involved engagement with the public and local community. I am a passionate campaigner for change and improvement. I have a naturally positive attitude, and get genuine enjoyment out of helping people.
