IMPORTANT:
If your Public Liability Insurance is due for renewal before the event, please submit your current PLI if your application is successful, and provide a copy of your renewed insurance when it’s available.
Rules & Important Information
Stall Fee(s):
The fee per stall, per event, is £30.00, which must be paid upfront, upon a successful application.
First Come, First Served Basis:
We can only accept stalls on a first-come, first-served basis. This will be finalised once the completed application form, Public Liability Insurance (PLI), and full payment are received. If we do not receive all required documentation and payment, and in the meantime, a similar stall submits their information first, they will automatically be prioritised, and unfortunately, we will no longer be able to accept your application for the event.
No Sub-Letting:
Under no circumstance does the Council accept sub-letting of the units.
Vehicle Restrictions:
There will be no vehicle movement on site during the event. In the case of an emergency, if a vehicle needs to leave the site, authorisation must be obtained from the event manager. The event manager will arrange for a safe exit when possible.
Gazebo Safety Requirements:
Gazebos Will Only Be Permitted If Weather Conditions Are Suitable And Must Be Securely Weighted Down.

2. Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance:
By signing this application, the stallholder agrees to indemnify Peterlee Town Council against any liability, cost, claim, or demand arising from the stallholder’s participation in the event.
All stallholders are required to submit a copy of their Public Liability Insurance (PLI) with their application form.
IMPORTANT:
If your insurance is due for renewal before the event, a copy of the renewed certificate must be provided as soon as possible and
before
the event. Stallholders who fail to provide this will not be permitted to attend.
Stallholders who fail to comply will not be permitted to participate in the event.
3. Stall Location:
The location of all stalls will be determined solely by the Events Manager.
4. Set-Up and Breakdown Times:
Stalls may be set up during the following times:
All Events – Set-up from 8:30am, ready for trading by 10:45am, and clear by 5:00pm.
5. Waste Removal:
Stallholders are responsible for removing all waste from their allocated site.
6. Vehicle Movement Restrictions:
There will be no vehicle movement on site from 10:30am during events.
7. Right to Refuse:
Peterlee Town Council reserves the right to refuse any stall application, deny admission to any person, or remove any individual from the event site if they cause disruption or fail to comply with the event’s terms and conditions.
8. Successful Applications:
Applications will not be considered successful until all of the following have been received:
Completed application form
Full payment
Copy of a valid Public Liability Insurance Certificate (and any other relevant documentation upon request)
9. Refund Policy:
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made prior to the event, or for no-shows on the agreed dates.
PLEASE NOTE:
The organisers are not responsible for any losses. Peterlee Town Council accept no liability for weather conditions, or for any loss or damage to property or equipment brought to the event, nor for any claims arising from such circumstances.
A confirmation letter and car park passes will be sent to all applicants 1-2 weeks prior to the event.
