Hi, I’m Paul Cartwright. I was born and raised in Blackhall and spent many years working as a miner at Blackhall, Horden, and Dawdon Collieries—something I’m incredibly proud of.
In 1994, I moved to Horden, and ever since, I’ve been actively involved in supporting the communities of Horden and Peterlee. Alongside my wife of 26 years, Mary, I’ve volunteered my time to help local groups, individuals, and families in any way I can.
Now 67 and semi-retired, I feel ready to fully dedicate myself to serving the people of Peterlee as a Town Councillor. I’m passionate about making a difference and giving back to a community that means so much to me.
