I’ve lived in Peterlee – especially around the Edenhill Ward – for the past 46 years. I’m a proud mum and gran, and I absolutely love spending time with my family, especially when we’re off on adventures in our motorhome (which my husband rebuilt from scratch – he’s pretty handy!).

I decided to become a town councillor because I really care about our town and wanted to give something back. Peterlee means a lot to me, and I’m passionate about trying to make a real, positive difference for our community. I feel it’s important that local people have someone who listens and speaks up for them – and that’s exactly what I aim to do.
