World Mental Health Day 2022 “Make mental health for all a global priority” World Mental Health Day is marked every year on October 10th to raise awareness about mental health around the world and to mobilize efforts to support those experiencing mental health issues.
Protecting our mental health is easier than you might think. We can all do it every day, and with simple activities that help us feel OK, we’re better able to cope with life.
According to the latest NHS figures, nearly half a million young people are being referred for mental health problems every month, with many not being able to get the support they need. That’s more young people than ever before seeking support – and most aren’t getting the help they need.
The Pavilion, Helford Road, Peterlee provides a varied programme of sport, wellbeing & physical activities to encourage people of all ages to become more active and look after their physical and mental health https://www.peterlee.gov.uk/?s=wellbeing
This day is a reminder to all of us that mental health should be a priority in our home and workplace globally.
