Peterlee Town Council’s Neighbourhood Services is seeking to appoint a permanent Neighbourhood Services Operative who will have a frontline role within the department, working 37hours a week.
This post will require you to work outdoors and associated tasks within the cemetery and all of the Town Council’s Parks areas. Knowledge of working with mechanical gardening equipment would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
This post will suit flexible, highly motivated individuals who must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with a positive approach to team working and working co-operatively. Good customer service skills are essential with the ability to liaise confidently with members of the public, colleagues, elected members and external organisations.
